Switch Lanes or Slow Down

For the safety of those on the road, there are laws known as the Move Over Laws. These laws state that you are to move into another lane when passing someone who is stranded on the highway. If you can't do that safely because there is traffic in the other lane, then you should slow down to at least 25 mph under the speed limit.

Many people are fatally injured each year because they are on the highway and they get hit by a car. We want to remind you to form all of us here to drive carefully and safely when there are construction workers or other people on the road who have stopped. Even if they are on the shoulder, you need to drive more carefully.

Always be scanning the road for people or stopped cars and take care to give them extra space and don't speed by them-slow down. Stay informed with our staff at Hugh White Honda today!
